Vivian Bales

Vivian Bales (known in the on-line community as Yukon Viv) has been designing for the real world for several years. This mother of two (and her husband) really do live in the wonderful Yukon Territory of northern Canada, where inspiration is around every corner. There wasn’t a real beginning to her designing, it's just something she’s always done for herself. Not until she purchased her first computer, and found the internet, did she begin to understand the scope of the stitching community out there.

After receiving a good response in an online design contest, she made her way into the world of professional designing and has been published in leaflet form as well as needlework magazines. Viv says “Every one of my designs has a glimpse of my life woven into it. I hope that my life brings a smile to yours.” X’s and Oh’s is pleased to be working with this talented designer.
